According to Matt Cutts, canonicalization is the process of selecting the best URL when there are several choices, and it usually refers to home pages. For example, most people would consider these the same URLs:

- CPC ( Cost per click)
- CPM ( Cost per thousand impressions)
# How to calculate PPC ROI (return of investment)
(Profit â Cost) / Cost
For example, if your sales from PPC are $1,000, and you paid $500 for PPC click costs, your ROAS(Return on Ad Spend) would be 100 percent:
($1000 profit â $500 cost = $500) / $500 cost = 1.0 = 100%
To calculate profit per impression, divide profit by impressions, for profit per click, divide profit by clicks.
#What is Quality score(QS)?
Quality Score is inversely proportional to CPC and Directly proportional to Ad Position. That means higher QS means lower cost and higher position.
#What is Actual CPC ?
The actual cost of a click for an advertiser in an auction. The actual CPC is calculated in realtime and we cannot know the Actual CPC, but we can see Avg. CPC.
Your Price(Actual CPC ) = The ad rank of the person below you/ your quality score + $0.01
CTR= Number of click / Number of impressions * 100

Hi Sudhir,
I have always come across these terms in blogging but still I didn’t have the basic knowledge about these terms.
SEO, SEM, SMO etc. are the terms used in digital marketing for Websites.
The main objective of building a website is to get more and more traffic into your site to monetize your efforts. At this SEO helps you rank your website prior on search engine priority such as Google. If your website is in the few front pages of Google then obviously you’ll get more traffic into your websites.
The common strategy to do this can be using Long tail keywords for your post. For example you have published about âHow to take care of Dog”. Then your keyword should be “how to care Dog” not “dog” etc.
These keywords will help your website to be identified by Google efficiently.
There is lots of Strategy in optimizing you Website.
Thanks Sudhir for sharing such a deep Knowledge about these technical stuffs.
With regards,
Saurav

Its simply WOW….knowledge Booster Blog. What a nice content this one. As much I apprise this content will be less. This content is exactly the same what I was searching for.
One thing please try to make me clear..
1) If No Follow links cannot be cached or indexed, then why should we make these links instead of Do-Follow links? and why should we maintain it approximately 15%-20%?
Please make me little bit clear.
Sudhir Shukla says
First let me clear about Nofollow links, Nofollow links attributes do not allow search engine bots to follow links. It means if you got a nofollow link from a blog then it does not pass any link juice from that blog. It is necessary to make your backlinks look natural that’s why you need to maintain it.
